From imported equipment to African industrial capability
The SiFT model is manufactured in Tanzania by Tanzanian workers, using African steel. SiFT believes in the circular model of keeping money recirculating within the local economy. We believe in investing in the workforce to provide a higher living standard and creating quality workers in the manufacturing of the SiFT Tractors. We want the workers to feel the pride of their production delivered to every smallholder farmer that will be owning a SiFT Tractor. Too many countries buy tractors for import, why not make them locally?
Tractor assembly
Structured integration of frames, drivetrains, batteries, controls and agricultural interfaces.
Local fabrication
Frames, brackets, guards, hitches, selected implements and other fabricated steel components can be localized as scale grows.
Testing & quality
Standardized bills of material, torque controls, electrical checks and end-of-line functional validation. Every SiFT Tractor goes through stringent validation before receiving the logo of a SiFT Tractor.
Parts & service
Manufacturing is paired with technician development and regional parts support, not treated as a stand-alone assembly activity. The tractor is manufactured locally, so all parts are available locally.
