Fuel Free Farming for the life of the tractor.

Every SiFT Tractor includes a solar charging station, giving farmers convenient on-farm refueling without buying petroleum to power the tractor.

Per tractor impact

Clean energy creates measurable value every working year.

The SiFT carbon-impact model compares one solar-charged electric tractor with a diesel tractor consuming 4 liters per hour for 600 operating hours each year.

6.4 tonsCO₂ avoided each year
64 tonsCO₂ avoided over 10 years
96 tonsCO₂ avoided over a 15-year life

Carbon offset value at US$10 per credit

Using one carbon credit for each metric ton of verified CO₂ avoided, the modeled operating-emission reduction has the following potential value.

PeriodCO₂ avoidedCarbon creditsValue at US$10
Each year6.4 metric tons6.4US$64
10 years64 metric tons64US$640
Tractor life 15 years96 metric tons96US$960

Carbon-credit values are planning estimates, not guaranteed revenue. Issuance and sale require an eligible project, monitoring, verification, certification, and a buyer. The model addresses avoided diesel operating emissions and does not claim zero lifecycle emissions.

Energy independence

Sunlight replaces a lifetime of tractor fuel purchases.

A comparable diesel tractor in this model burns 2,400 liters each year. At a planning price of US$1.25 per liter, a SiFT Tractor avoids US$3,000 in annual petroleum purchases, US$30,000 over 10 years, and US$45,000 over its modeled 15-year life. The included solar charging station keeps refueling on the farm—convenient, locally available, and independent of routine diesel deliveries.

Fuel cost comparison

The value of not purchasing petroleum for tractor power.

These estimates hold annual use and the diesel planning price constant to make the comparison clear. Actual savings rise or fall with local fuel prices and operating hours.

Fuel Free Farming

For the operating life of the tractor, solar electric power removes the need to purchase diesel for propulsion. That protects the farm from routine fuel-price exposure and keeps more operating capital available for seed, inputs, labor, implements, and growth.

Always ready to refuel on the farm

Because every SiFT Tractor includes a solar charging station, the tractor’s energy supply is located where the work happens. Farmers can recharge without traveling to a fuel station, waiting for a delivery, or storing petroleum on the farm.

Calculation basis: 4 liters/hour × 600 hours/year = 2,400 liters/year. Diesel cost assumption: US$1.25/liter. Emission factor: 2.68 kg CO₂/liter, producing 6,432 kg or approximately 6.4 metric tons of avoided CO₂ each year. Lifetime basis: 15 years. Figures exclude maintenance differences, fuel transport costs, financing, degradation, downtime, and any backup-grid electricity.
